First a ``Database File Selection'' dialog is popped up. Once a supported database file has been selected with this dialog, an image data loading panel will pop up. Using this panel, either one, or three channels must be loaded. The same number of channels (either one or three) must be loaded at this time, as were loaded in the ``Select Uncorrected Image'' step. These channels are also used to set the default channels into which the newly corrected image will be registered; however, in the ``Perform Registration To Disk'' step, other channels, or even another database can be selected to register into.
The selected georeferenced database determines the georeferencing system to which the uncorrected image will be registered.
The ``Select Georeferenced Database'' step may only be performed once. If the wrong database is selected, GCPWorks must be terminated and restarted.
To complete the ``Select Georeferenced Database'' step it is necessary to select the ``Load & Close'' or ``Close'' button on the load panel.
If the selected file has no image planes, but does have bitmap layers the bitmaps will be offered for selection by the user.
